About Carson
Originally from a small town in North Central Arkansas, Carson started playing music at the age of 5 years old when he stood on a chair and learned to play the upright bass. At 7 years old, he wrote his first song, and continued writing songs until late in his teenage years.
Carson attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC where he met his wife, Savannah, and graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and Leadership. With this theological training, he was ready to start writing songs again in June of 2023. In the next few weeks, he had written a song called “Unite My Heart” that would end up topping bluegrass gospel charts for The Steve Pettit Band on their 2024 album by the same name.
Growing up in the rural South, Carson was always exposed to stories and was deeply affected by the power of stories — especially stories that are told through music. Now, Carson and Savannah work to write music that tells the stories of people and how all these stories work together to tell the grand story of God’s goodness in the lives of everyday people.
